  That gets connection to mount. HEM27 speaks different commands?

  Connection Failure

  SkySafari Pro can make a wireless connection to the scope, but the scope is not responding. Also make sure you selected the correct scope type.

  Please provide the following info:

  1. App and version
  2. OS version
  3. Scope make and model
  4. WiFi hardware
  5. SkySafari telescope setup preset screenshots
  6. Error message screenshots

  Etc.

  Provide sufficient info that other SS7 + iOptron users can help troubleshoot this issue with you.

  1. App and version       SkySafari 7 pro         version 7.1.4.0
  2. Android 11 on MOTO G stylus 2022
  3. iOptron HEM27EC   using latest firmware 220610
  4. Phone direct wifi to scope using wifi settings from scope info
  5. Same message for every iOptron selection

  iOptron Commander and Commander lite connect and correctly identify the mount with no issues.

  Got it to work.

  Requires latest scope firmware installed.

  Requires latest version of iOptron Commander Lite installed and connected to the scope.

  In SkySafari 7:

  Use iOptron CEM 120 preset.

  Manual wifi settings from scope mount.

  Next. Connect Commander lite to scope.

  Then connect SF7.

  It will jump around the screen for a bit and then settle.

  Works after that.

  I suspect HEM27 ASCOM issue that resolves through Commander APP.

  If commander disconnected SF7 stops working.

  Yes please if you can add the screen shots. I have the same issue with my HEM27EC connecting.

  What version are you running on the mount? Any help would be great.

  Connection was intermittent at best. I gave up trying to use a phone and moved to a PC based system.

  I'm afraid I pretty much documented all I know about that process (which is also for a different mount). I stepped through the process and it worked, nothing much else. Has anyone reached out to iOptron?
