The Astroid 2017 BX that was broadcasted via YouTube 2 days back would have been great NEO near Earth object
On the App, but none to my uprise, semi disappointed, answer as to why is not listed , can you explain
I did all protocols and upgrades minor object .?

The asteroid will not appear in our database until the Minor Planet Center adds it to the files we pull from it. Right now there are only a couple of asteroids that were discovered in 2017. We are looking into adding some additional files in hopes of getting "hot off the presses" asteroids.
I should mention we also have a mechanism where we can add specific asteroids and comets that are not in the MPC files yet. If this happens again, let us know before hand and we can try to get the orbital elements in.
