SkyPortal is not our app and Celestron is supposed to provide support for it. That said, I know they've been making some changes and fixing bugs in this bit of code. If you are connected to the mount when trying this, try disconnecting first. If you are disconnected, try it with it connected.
Sorry for not having more info right now. Celestron works on this code and I don't know the state of it when they last built and Android release.
So, I bought the skysafari plus app... but still I can't connect the AVX mount... I have connected the SkyBT on the DB9 of the Nexstar+... but nothing happens
in the telescope menu I have selected Celestron/advanced GT... Mount type Equatorial GOTO
connect via BT
Found the solution!! ... I changed the scope type to Celestron AVX/CGE/CGEM/CGX and now everything works!!!
Glad to hear it is working. Yes, if you have an AVX mount, you should select " Celestron AVX/CGE/CGEM/CGX".
Looking back at your original post, it somehow didn't register that you were trying to use the SkyPortal app with SkyBT. This will never work. SkyPortal is designed to only work with Celestron's Wi-Fi modules, not SkyBT. You would need to have one of Celestron's SkyQ Link modules (also confusingly called SkyPortal modules) for the SkyPortal app to talk with it.
Thanks for the info
