SS Notifications

Is there currently a way to see all upcoming (and past) notifications for a given night?  It would be great if I could see, ahead off time, all iridium flares, visible passes of major satellites, etc. in one place.  Sometimes I'll miss a notification and want to look back, or just plan ahead for them.  The Tonight at a Glance does this in part, but I constantly get notifications for events that I don't see listed here, and without clicking on each one and really studying them, it's hard to see what is going to happen and in what order.  Just a thought.

    Chris,

    If you tap the Tonight at a Glance button and scroll to the bottom, you will see all the predictions of satellite passes and Iridium flares that we generate notifications for.  I think we show the predictions for the next 24 hours.

    Hey Bill--

    I'm fairly certain that I consistently get notifications that aren't showing up in the Tonight at a Glance, but I'll have to wait until the next one I notice to get an example.  I was also out a couple weeks ago and there was a pretty nice iridium flare that another app alerted a friend about.  I pulled out my SS5 and went to the Tonight at a Glance and it wasn't there but when I manually typed in the iridium #, it did indeed show a visible flare that night.  Thanks!

    Also, how do you guys determine which passes/flares to provide a notification for vs. not?  For example, from my location, there's a pretty good pass of Iridium 15 tomorrow morning a little after 5am.  According to Satflare.com, there's a flare at 5:14:37.  In SS5, there's no flare noted, but a pass, with highest magnitude coming well after the culmination date/time.  This one maxes out at .7 mag and is not listed in the Tonight at a Glance, but the three that are all get much brighter.  Thanks again!

    The flare has to be higher that 10º above the horizon and it has to occur when the Sun is more than 6º below the horizon (after Civil Dusk and before Civil Dawn).

    Is there a way to see or search for all predicted flares for a location on a certain day/night beyond the parameters required for a notification? 

    Also, is there a way to adjust the notification time frame so that I'm not getting notifications 5 minutes beforehand, but rather 6 hours or 24 hours ahead of time?

    I'm new to stargazing and this software is incredible. I've learned a great deal, but satellite tracking isn't something I'm familiar with beyond the Hubble and ISS. I've never seen a flare before that I'm aware of, so I am trying my best to see one using predictions from this software.

    Manually searching for each satellite and trying to find flares is tedious, and the tonight a glance is useful, but instead of the Tonight At A Glance, I would like an option to search for specifics, such as flares. Punch in coordinates and dates, and have the ability to see all future flares within the parameters. I do not know how flares are predicted, so the amount of notice that is possible could vary, but for someone like me who is solely interested seeing one, this would be helpful.
