Optionally turn off slew controls

Its generally easier to use the slew controls  on the hand controller and having them on the tablet means they may be accidentally used.

  I really don't want to have an option to hide these.  It will just cause confusion for some folks.  Have you tried the "tilt to slew" option?  It will hopefully work well and the UI element is only a small button on the right hand side.

  Personally I don't ever SLEW with the app.  If I need to slew a bit - I zoom in and tap the new desired pointing position on the screen and hit goto.

  I definitely need the option to disable (hide) the control arrows and rate speed slider - it is pressed accidentally many times when the phone is in my pocket or while holding it in my hand and makes a lot of problems. The slew control is actually unusable for me as it has very slow action and random lag. Therefore I use the wired hand control with real buttons only for that purpose.
