PLEASE include simple button controls on the Apple Watch app. I would love to use my watch to control my telescope with simple up, down, left, right buttons. Ideally this would be great for Core Bluetooth, but I am not sure if iOS 11 yet offers this ability for you guys. However, could this be done with WiFi control for now?

Bill Tschumy Thanks for the suggestion. We can look into this but my suspicion is that the latency and delays in pressing the button on the watch and the mount's response would be too great.

Mstalpin Thanks for the response and possibly considering this. If the app is native then technically there would be no difference in control from the iPhone app vs the watch app. Seems like the watch supports both native WiFi and Bluetooth. This would be an awesome feature to the watch app which I have no use for at the moment ;)

Bill Tschumy The watch app would still have to communicate with the iOS device to coordinate movement. We can't put all of scope control (and much of SkySafari) natively in the watch.
