SkySafari V6 for iOS; the app will NOT enable Orbit Mode. I've paid the $1.99 and received a receipt from Apple but the app will not enable the feature or "restore purchase". This is a problem on both my iPhone 8 plus AND my iPad 5.
I've already tried reinstalling the app to no avail.

Same here. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but still having the same problem.
I'm really mystified by this. We have verified on several devices that this fixed the problem I saw. I'm not sure why it is not working for you. If I can't figure something out I will give you free upgrade to Plus.
If a Plus version does work that would be nice but for future customers I hope it will work in the basis too. Good luck and I hop you will post us the or a solution here.
Full disclosure: I had been running iOS 11.2.5 Beta (I'm part of the AppleSeed program for my job), so I rolled my iPhone back to the current 11.2.2. After removing the app and reinstalling again and restarting my iPhone, the problem persists. Interestingly enough, the Restore Purchases feature works just fine on my iPad 5.
I just reset my iPhone completely and reinstalled all but unfortunately this didn't help this issue

I don't think there is a general problem with the orbit mode purchase after our 6.0.2 update. However, a few people that had the original problem seem to be unable to recover from it. In an effort to satisfy everyone, we are going to give you a free promo code for SkySafari 6 Plus. This has orbit mode built-in (as well as a bunch of other great stuff).
