Skyfi is running firmware 2.2. It's connected to the CGEM mount via the Starsense hand controller via a USB to mini USB cable. The Ipad is able to connect to the Skyfi but when I try to control the mount I get "... the scope is not responding ..."
Is this a firmware version problem on the Skyfi? The cable worked when connecting the hand controller to my laptop to upgrade the firmware on the hand controller, starsense and the motor control.

Unfortunately, due to changes brought about by Celestron during the development of their latest hand controller our original SkyFi can not connect via Celestron USB. There is nothing we can do about this.
However, we modified our SkyFi 3 so that it can connect via Celestron USB.
You will need to upgrade to SkyFi 3 (running the latest firmware 1.3.3) if you want to continue to use our telescope control system with the new Celestron USB hand controllers.

Unfortunately Celestron used a USB/UART chipset that the old SkyFi 2 doesn't support. It is compatible with our SkyFi 3, but realize that doesn't help you much.
