A useful feature would be to have an option to have larger slew buttons, or perhaps separated with a wider line? In the dark its very easy to hit the wrong button when peering through the scope or camera screen to align on a star.
I know there's the tilt to slew feature but I find its precision lacking when aligning so don't use it.
Another option would be to use a 3rd party BT controller with proper control sticks (which I think others have suggested).

The size of the slew buttons is heavily constrained on the phones. Any bigger and not all the UI elements will fit in some cases. We do make the buttons bigger on iPads.
I'm surprised you don't find the tilt-to-slew to have enough precision. I've been using it an I find it much preferable to the on-screen buttons. What scope type are you using? Do you change the rate as you need finer control? I've changed the rate control to make that somewhat easier.

Ok I agree with a bit of practice it works well. Just have to be careful not to tilt in two axes when not intending to. Mount is AVX and works smoothly with appropriate slew rate.
I still think having the control buttons separated slightly might be a small ergonomic improvement but not critical. Perhaps just a personal preference.

I appreciate your trying the tilt-to-slew. I think you will eventually find it much better than the on-screen slew buttons. I am also working on some ideas for voice control for manually moving the scope around.
