Can Skysafari 6+ be installed and run fine on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean?

I'm about to get a new, but old-model tablet for my kid (at $15) and I'm not sure I can install Skysafari 6+ on it because the tablet is running Android 4.1. I already purchased the app and run it fine on other Android version 4.4 up.

  SS6 I believe requires Android 4.4 at a minimum. SS7 requires Android 10.

  Thanks. Would that mean I have no way to install and try it on 4.1 for SS6 and 9 for SS7?
