I've been using SkySafari for over a decade and I remember that during solar eclipses it would darken the sky at totality.
I just tried viewing the 2024 eclipse and nothing happens when the moon covers the sun.
Was this functionality removed?

Waseem,
Nothing has changed in SkySafari regarding eclipse modelling - yet!
Developers are working to improve the modelling for the 2024 eclipse.
If you will post a screenshot of what you currently see we can assess what is going on.
You must be on the path of totality for the total solar eclipse simulation.
Thanks!
This is what I see from Uvalde, TX which is right on the centerline. The same location is modeled correctly on the Android version.

In fact I just noticed the Earth and Moon Shadow Circles are not being drawn anywhere even though I have the option enabled.
Any response?
Waseem,
I believe the issues is that you have not downloaded this planet maps.
Do you have a map of Mars?
Please reinstall the app, and watch for the prompt to make additional downloads.
Let me know if this works for you.
