When viewing the path of the ISS, the position of ISS (the blinking green dot) is never on the green path. Which is suppose to be correct? The dot or the path?

Keiron Smith Michael,
The green dot should be the correct location. You can confirm via heavens-above.com
Please ensure you data is up-to-date:
Settings > Solar System > Update Minor Body Orbit Data
Thanks!

Dean The problem is that the object selected and its displayed path are not aligned with each other. They are offset.
This not only occurs with the ISS but also with Hubble and other satellites, probably all of them.
It also occurs with comets, astroids, and to a lesser degree, planets.
The problem becomes apparent when zoomed in on the selected object, and the severity of the observed offset is different for different selected objects.
This occurs with both iOS and MacOS versions of SkySafari Pro ( versions 6.8.5.2 and 6.8.2 respectively). -
Keiron Smith Is this a new problem originating with the very latest app version release? We can look at this for SS7. Likely it will not be fixed in SS6.

Dean I believe this problem has existed for quite a long time, not with just this recent release.

Keiron Smith Thanks, Dean! Will will review this for SS7.

Anyway, as Dean said, this issue has been around for as long as I can remember, at least since SS4.
