SkySafari 7 Pro Does Not Respond On Android 13

I have Skysafari 7 Pro on my Samsung A12 , version 13. When I download Sksysafari completely, it start to work. But after I closed the app, and start it again, there is a white screen on it, that says (in Dutch) : Skysafari 7 Pro does not react, plus: close app, wait, send feedback. Closing and starting again does not help, also wait does not help, and I see no feedback possibility.

I also removerd the app and downloaded again, still the same problem.

Before this I used Skysafari 6 , which still does not give this problem and works flawless, but I prefer the extra's of 7 for steering my mount.

Anyone has this issue also?

    Apologies, and thanks for your patience, developers will have a fix out very soon.

    What is your app version number?

    Hello Keiron,

    I don't know where to find a version number, but I have Skysafari 7 Pro, latest update  was 21 feb. 2023. And recently I have several times removed it and downloaded again. But this did not help. I am glad to hear that it will be fixed.

    Beta Testing SkySafari 7 (Android Only) - Read EVERYTHING To Participate!

    And email me your Google Play Store email address.

    ksmith@simur.com

    I will add you to the beta, you can try 7.1.8.1 and see if these issues are resolved.

    Hi Keiron,

    I tried to e-mail you my Playstore adress, but your mail adress does not respond, it says:

    Your message to ksmith@simur.com couldn't be delivered.
    ksmith wasn't found at simur.com.

    The latest beta has resolved most issues for everyone who is using it.  

    If you still need assistance with your app please join the open beta.

    Make sure you back up your data to LiveSky first.

    Uninstall and reinstall SS7 - then you will be using the 7.1.8.1 beta

    Let us know if this beta resolves the issue(s) for you.

    If you still have issues please provide the following info:

    1. Specific description of the issue and how it is reproduced.
    2. App and version number.  See Help > scroll to the bottom > this should say 7.1.8.1
    3. Android OS version
    4. Android device make and model

    I've been functioning fine until today. I'm on Android 13. I restored my system to factory default and all worked fine until, presumably, the Android update ran and I'm back to getting the not responding message. How do I get on the open beta?
    I'm on 7.1.8.1
    Android 13 on a Lenovo M10 pro
    The error pops up every 5seconds if I hit the wait option. Message is SkySafari Pro 7 isn't responding

    Make sure to backup to LiveSky.

    Unintsall SS7.

    In the Google Play Store description of SS7 scroll to the bottom.

    Choose the option to "Join the beta".

    Install the beta version.

    Well, beta worked until I closed the app and reopened it. Now it has reverted back to the same behavior most of the time. Once in a while I can get it stable. I'm just leaving it running for now. Not ideal but at least I have a workaround.

    For me the same problem as Matt Vartanian has. In the middle of an observing session SS7 stopped, and then the error popups came again, so I had to go back to SS6. maybe my phone with Android 12 was updated. Strange is that I did not close SS7, and when I open it now , there is no popup. What to do?

    Keiron, yesterday night Skysafari Pro 6 also gave the same problem as SS7! Now I have no options left for steering my telescope. The evening before SS 6  worked flawless. 

    What are they doing at Samsung!

    Please always include the following info:

    1. App and version.  See Help > scroll to the bottom (or get if from the Google Play Store app listing).
    2. Android OS version.
    3. Android device.

    Then..

    1. Please uninstall the app.
    2. Join the SkySafari 6 Plus/Pro OPEN BETA.
    3. Test the BETA and report.

    On the 7 beta I'm having trouble showing dss images. When I click show dss image the error comes up unable to download image file. If I click redownload image in upper right I get a crash with SkySafari 7 Pro has stopped. I'm not sure if this is a know issue.

    What device, OS version, and SkySafari version? I have:

    Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
    Android 13/OneUI 5.1
    SkySafari 7 Pro 7.1 9.1 Beta

    I cannot reproduce this issue.

    I'm still having issues with SkySafari 7 Pro beta, v 7.1.10.5. Error continues to be SkySafari 7 Pro isn't responding. If I click wait it will continue to pop up every 5 seconds.

    I am also still facing the same problem. Even after the October update. It worked once. Then, after I restarted the app, the pop up raised again and again. SkySafari 7 Pro isn't responding.
    It is becoming very annoying. This way, the app is almost unusable.
    Version 7.1.10.5 with Android 13 on a Fairphone 3+
