I would appreciate it if someone at Simulation Curriculum would acknowledge that this issue is being looked at.
The problem occurs with version 7 running on both the iPhone and Macintosh platforms.
Problem also exists with iPad platform
This issue seems to have fallen through the cracks. I reported it back in October and it has not yet received any official response.
I would appreciate an acknowledgment that this bug has been recognized, logged, and will be resolved.
Thanks.
Developers are aware of the issue and will release a fix in the next update.
Thanks for your patience.
We are up to SKYSAFARI 7 PRO Ver. 7.3.6 and the Sun & Moon Shadow Circles are still not shown. I have an iPhone 13 Pro running iOS Version 17.5.1. Is there any time line for restoring the Sun & Moon Shadow Circles?
Developers are aware of the issue. Thanks for the feedback!
As of today, Sept 17, 2024, the earth’s shadow circles still do not appear. There is a lunar eclipse tonight. Simulation Curriculum has known about this issue since at least January of 2024. I’m beginning to think Sky Safari is not interested in serving the astronomical community. You need to take us more seriously.
*I stand corrected. The original post is from October of 2023! This is unacceptable.
There are a few things that need fixed on SS7. I hope that they ask for a list before the next planned update.
