[UI Issue]* No Scroll Bars In Observation/Observing Session Lists In Large Lists Using iOS 17

Hello SimCur,

I have noticed a missing feature in SkySafari Pro and iPad OS 17. No scroll bars in Observation/Observing Session lists in large lists.

Device: iPad Pro (11”) (3rd Gen), iPad OS v17.2 & SkySafari 7 Pro v7.3.1 (1103).

Issue Scroll Bars Missing when viewing lists with large number of items. My Observing Lists (359 items) & Observing Sites (90 items) do display scroll bars. My Observations (7109 items) & Observing Sessions (838 items) do not.

Steps to Reproduce

From the main screen in SkySafari Pro, tap Observe

Tap Observations

No scroll bar visible, even after manual scrolling within the list. I thought it might be a fetching issue, so I waited a few moments, but still no scroll bars.

The Lists & Sites do show scroll bars after tapping them.

What was tried: Rotating the screen to landscape and back again when the large list is displayed does not change this behaviour, as does turning the iPad off and then back on again. However, the scroll bars do appear on an iPhone 6s with SkySafari Pro v7.3.1 (1103), but with an older version of the iOS (15.8). They were also visible in SkySafari Pro v 7.2.0 in iPad OS v16.7.2, from what I remember.

Editing large lists without scroll bars is not practically possible without them. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Happy holidays all!

I was reviewing my list of SkySafari defects and remembered this defect. I noticed Keiron updated this post last summer. Thanks for looking into it!

I know my list is a 'tad smaller' than your list...  Keep up the good work folks and thanks for a great product!! It revolutionized my observing and note taking.

    Best,

    Mark
