Originally from ticket #6920.
I downloaded the ASCOM software that came with my Starry Night Software. I downloaded the software for my Celestron telescope and in StarryNight it says that there is no plug in found in the Plug-ins folder. I looked for the plug-in in the folder, and it's no where to be found. How can I put the plug-in in the correct folder?

Please right-click your Starry NIght program and choose "Run as Admin"

Just tried it, it didn't work. I looking in the plug-ins folder and it only has ascomfocuser.plug ascomscope.plug maximdlplugin.plug
What version of Starry Night Pro Plus are you running? Look in Help ---> About Starry Night. You need to be running the latest. Please update your program here:

The latest version is 6.4.3.
There are two updates available. One for 6.3.3 and one for 6.4.3. If you are running less than 6.3.3 apply the 6.3.3 update first, then the 6.4.3 update.
I'm downloading the updates right now, I'll comment after they are updated.
I upgraded to 6.4.3 tried to start the application and it says Preference folder can't be opened. Throw it away and start it again.
Just tried it as an admin, and it works. Thanks for your help

Is anyone out there running OS 10.7.5 with a AVX mount? I can't get it to connect . It's plugged into the hand control I'm using a keyspan model # 19HS and can't find a option on the configure window. Where am I going wrong?
