Advanced VX Mount

So far I have been unable to get SkyFi to work with my Celestron AVX mount. I am using SkySafari 4 Pro on an IPhone & IPad (iOS 8). The serial cable, which is plugged into the base of the handcontroller, has allowed me to control the mount in the past (with Stellarium.) I am able to creates a wifi network with SkyFi & connect to it with both devices. Neither device, however, will then connect with the telescope. Any advice?

  It works great now. I had the selected the wrong Celestron mount. I selected Celestron WiFi instead of advanced VX. So no problems whatsoever.
