Stellarium, which is free btw, allows me to select a target and copy the RA & DEC coordinates into the clip board whereby I can paste them into Sequence Generator Pro to set up a target to image.
I want Starry Night 7 Pro Plus, which I purchased yesterday, to be my #1 choice for planetarium software but the only thing holding me back is the lack of this feature or maybe it exists but is not very easy to find.

yes but you have to copy and paste each coordinate one at a time compared to stellarium where you can just ctrl-c on the info and it captures both RA and Dec. (and since task switching not working properly clicking away from SN to SGP means I lose the centre on dialogue if it's fully covered by the main SN window - ok it it's partially covered since I can then click back on it directly....not good)
