How does one turn on the celestial equator

One of the mysterious things about Starry Night is that it has the Ecliptic as an easy to find check box but not the Celestial Equator.  Equally mysterious is that a search of the data base on this site will turn up a number of entries that supposedly have the words 'celestial' and/or 'equator' in the text somewhere, but do not.  Therefore I am forced to ask you "How does one turn on the celestial equator?"

    There is a check box for the celestial equator under "Celestial Guides," just above the check boxes for the ecliptic in the Options pane. You can also toggle the ecliptic off and on with the "g" key. These options are also available under the View menu.
