Help with creating star charts for printing

Hi. I bought a copy of Starry Night Enthusiast from you and I am looking for a way to duplicate what another person has done at this website: http://home.comcast.net/~mcculloch-brown/astro/starpaint.html . He used a copy of Starry Night Deluxe back in 2004, and describes creating the charts as thus:

"I used Starry Night Deluxe (Sienna Software) to print out charts on transparency film. Charts were carefully cut into wedge shapes along the arched lines of constant longitude. The wedges are 2h wide in RA (30 degrees), requiring 12 total wedges to cover the sky. The wedges were carefully assembled into a hemisphere."

Trying to print out charts is confusing using the software I have. Is this possible to do with what I have? If so, can you give me instructions on how to do it? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Chester,

In SN7 you'll want to use the File ---> Print function.  Choose your FOVs.  And print the results.  I think you will need to experiment quite a bit in order to get the correct results.

If you want specific help about how to accomplish the task I suggest you ask the website author to provide you with some guidance.  That website has been up for 10+ years.  I'm sure you're not the first person to follow in his footsteps.  I'm sure he has more info available to help if you ask him.

But, as for Enthusiast 7 it can be used just as well as Starry Night Deluxe.
