Importing Observing Lists?

I see with SN7 Pro you can create observing lists and export them to .csv format.  What I cannot find in SN7 Pro is the means to Import them afterward.  I want to be able to create an Observing List on OS X and import it into SN7 Pro on Windows where I'm using ASCOM to control the telescope and other related equipment.

On top of that, where is the support for SkySafari Observing List format?  I would think that SCC would have provided the means for owners of both SkySafari and SN7 to move Observing Lists between the two applications and use iCloud to synchronize them just like the iOS and OS X versions of SkySafari.

    Hi Ron,

Please see page 103 in the Starry Night 7 User Guide.

Sharing observing lists: Whenever you create an observing list it is automatically saved. Lists are saved in the “Prefs/Sessions” folder. You can share the lists in this folder with other users or move them to a different computer. The shared lists can then be viewed in the Observing Lists pane. See “Observing Lists” on page 99 for more information.

Will this this will achieve the objective you are seeking.

please also read this for info about the Prefs/Sessions folder:

And about cross-compatible SN/SS observing lists, yes, it is on the roadmap ;)

Please let me know if this helps.

    K,

I also don't see anything for imaging equipment in the Equipment lists like SkySafari has.  I realize this is off the current topic, but so far I'm not very impressed with SN7.  The UI is indeed a challenge to use.  I may play around with it a bit more, but I think I'm going to stick with SkySafari on OS X and iOS, and the use Stellarium as I have been on Windows to control my scope.  I had hoped to get down to a single application across the platforms...and the issue with Stellarium is that the don't have observing lists.

I take that back.  Noticed that the defaults don't have any of this equipment, but if you go to Edit --> Equipment list there are categories for CCD/DSLRs.
