I have a Samsung Tab 4 10.1 Tablet and purchased Skysfari Pro and tried to run it on the tablet and it said magnetic device not detected and could not get it to work. The I read it need a compass and so I downloaded a compass program and it didn't work. There is no information in the Samsung manual about anything and so is it impossible to use the program on the Samsung or is it a lost cause. Is there any way to use the program with the Samsung or am I up the creek. The Skysfari website indicated that the program would work with most major android Tablets and there is no information about not working on Samsung Tablets specifficaly.

I believe I have already responded to a ticket you opened on this. The upshot is that is appears the Tab 4 10.1 does not have a compass. That means there is no way to get the compass feature to work in SkySafari, the requisite hardware is just not present.
