Starry Night Pro 8 very buggy on Windows 11 Pro

I've an HP intel-based i7 laptop with nVidia MX150 and it is extremely buggy. The zooms often just stop updating and stay the large, bloated, fuzzy star images. Many labeling elements just do not draw -- for example I was on M104 and its label didn't appear about 50% of the time at various zooms. I can come up with other random examples.

I asked for a refund with promise of deletion of app and destruction of registration codes. There was no physical delivery, and I am not aware of any DEMO availability to test prior to purchase? Does Simulation Curriculum not back up their products with 100% satisfaction?

    Games For One,

All software sales are final.  This is displayed on the product page.

That said, I can tell from your description of the issue(s) that you probably purchased Pro Plus.

Starry Night is very deep, there are many layers and many options - it takes time to learn how the program works.

Just because it doesn't work the way one might expect doesn't mean it is broken.

To be clear about the issues please attach either screenshots OR a screen recording of what you are experiencing and we can work through it together.

You need to show, specifically, how you get to each result. i.e, I do X, then Y, the result is Z.

There is nothing random about Starry Night.  Even with the bugs, they are 100% reproducible.

    Thanks!

I do Windows and Linux software development and have experience with system admin roles professionally. I also have two and half decades of experience with planetarium apps, including the SkySafari Pro products on iOS.

I find your Windows Starry Night Pro substandard. Given there is no DEMO path to test it before purchase, your "all sales are final" policy is pretty convenient for YOU.

I find the display of label features to be random as sometimes the on-screen image draws to completion and other times it stalls. The success/failure rate seems random to me.

If you would like to create and share a screen recording of what you are seeing, we can discuss what is happening, and how you can change options to achieve your specific goal(s) with the program.
