[Database]* What Ever Did You Do With The Globs?! (Solution: Fix In Next Update)

Looks like Sky Safari 7 updated on October 12 to 7.5.0 and the globulars are gone! There's still an image if you zoom in on a target, but the globular symbol of a circle and a cross, along with the label, are missing. For example, check the location of M13. (And yes, in the Settings>Deep Sky, I have Globular Clusters ON.)

Confirmation of problem coming from other users.

Dan, are you beta testing 7.5.0?  I see it in the app store. It's weird that they would release 7.5.0 cause it's got a bunch of bugs.  I would revert to the previous version.

Well, I'm not intentionally beta testing it. ; )

My devices auto-updated to it, as far as I know. And I agree it has bugs! (I shake my fist once again at Light Travel Time!)

Cloudy Nights users report experiencing the disappearing globs problem, too.

It is a known issue, a big problem with 7.5.0.  I need to check my iPad to make sure it didn't auto update.  Dang it.

The only way to see the globs is to turn the magnitude to max in settings.  Then you get all kinds of crap along with them.

Good to know I'm not alone! Did waste a fair amount of time today trying to recover the globs. Thank you, Bruce!

Well, I checked and mine did the auto update also.  All I can say is WOW.  I was helping with the 7.5.0 beta test on my other iPad.  Now both iPads have the infested version.  Good thing I still have SS6+.  SS7 is useless at 7.5.0.
