Why Did The Earth Artificial Satellites Data Stop Updating In SkySafari 5? (Answer: Reinstall The App)

I used Skysafari 5 Pro android for many years as the user interface is better than in 6 or 7. But in the last few months the earth satellites data never updates anymore, the app doesn't show satellites anymore. Did you end the support for satellites data? If so, can i get data from Celestrak and create a file in the phone directory? How do i make and name that file and in what directory i have to put it? Thank you.

    Nothing has been changed regarding the app.  We did not stop the satellite data.  Did you try reinstalling the app?

    I, too, have the same issue with SkySafari (SS) 5 Pro. Infact, this same issue has been present going back to April of 2025. The delay in reporting this issue is that back in April when the update first occurred on my device, the initial thought was that it was unique to my device as no one else had reported anything similar with SS 5 Pro since July of 2022 (Weblink is shown below). I have a screenshot saved on my phone that demonstrates this same issue that can be provided if it would be beneficial to understand and resolve the issue.

    Acting upon the recommendation from Keiron Smith above, I did reinstall the application onto my same Android phone. Unfortunately, the same issue is present. A fellow Stargazer friend of mine has SkySafari 6 Pro and other is using 7 Pro - and - in both cases, earth satellite data updates are active. 

    Below, I have inserted a hyperlink where this issue occurred on SkySafari 5 back in July of 2022. Please reference the link below as it does contain key information. Similar to Un Om above who first reported this issue here in Calendar Year (CY) 2025, I really do prefer the User Interface (UI) for SS 5 Pro. Please restore for us who are still active use and appreciate SS 5 Pro the functionality of updates to asteroids, comets, and satellites. Thank you.
