Using SkySafari 7 Plus on iPad to control Celestron Evolution. Had no problem adding more than 3 alignment points with old version of app. When attempting to add fourth point on new version, app went into an endless loop and stopped responding. Circular symbol went around and around no matter how long I waited. Had to re-start alignment process. Alignment worked when using only 3 points.
Reproduced problem with a second, older iPad, then tried on a friend’s NexStar 4SE with his iPad. All had the same result. Appears to be a problem with the new version of app. Anyone have experience with this?
