Hello,
I have been using SkySafari 7 Pro on both my iPhone and 8th gen iPad, to connect with my Synscan mount (SkyWatcher AZ-GTI) via SkyWatcher SynScanLink. It was working fine for both until recently when I updated them to version 7.6.4 in the app store. Now, on both devices, when I try to connect from SkySafari 7 Pro, it hangs on "Connecting...". I'm thinking this is a recent regression to SkyWatcher SynScanLink that was introduced in this version.
Repro steps:
1. From iPhone or iPad, connect to SkyWatcher AZ-GTI's wifi.
2. Open Synscan Pro app, it connects to the mount successfully. All operations on the Synscan Pro app work fine to move/align the mount.
3. Open SkySafari 7 Pro, using the Skywatcher SynscanLink telescope control preset, try to connect. The app is seen to switch over to the Synscan Pro app momentarily, then go back to SkySafari, where it hangs indefinitely on "Connecting..."
iPhone iOS version: 18.7.1
iPad version: 8th Gen, version 15.5
Synscan Pro version: 2.5.15
SkySafari 7 Pro version 7.6.4
Using an Google Pixel 10 Pro (Android) phone, I am able to connect from SkySafari to the mount using "Skywatcher Synscan" (not SynscanLink which is only for iOS), but I have a separate issue with that where the connnection to the Synscan Pro app will drop after about ~20 sec, which is why I'm not using Android for my purposes.
I wonder if you wonderful folks over there are able to confirm this?
