Cannot connect Celestron Scope to Sky Safari 6 Plus using IOS

I have a Celestron Nexstar Evolution 8 and I am not able to connect to my telescope using the built in Wi-Fi.  If I use Sky Safari 5 which is the free download from the Apple Store, it works just fine.

Any Ideas why I might have this problem?  Is it because Sky Safari 6 Plus is so new and it does not support it yet?

  Hi Conrad, 

  There is no difference between SS5 and SS6 in regards to telescope connectivity.  Please look in Settings >>> Telescope >>> Setup >>> Scope Type >>> Celestron WiFi <<< do you have this selected?  If not, please choose that option and try your scope again.

  That did the trick.  I believe that I had it working initially and I started messing with the telescope settings so I changed it back to Celestron WiFi and bingo.
