Google Security Notice For Simulation Curriculum (Answer: We Can Be Trusted)

An FYI for Simulation Curriculum -  Google sent me a "security issue" notice indicating that you've triggered one of their warnings.  It's pasted in below.  I assume this is due to SkySafari using Google Drive to store data. That's not something that worries me, but I thought you should know about the warning

    Hi Bob,

Is it possible for you to get and attach a screenshot of this Google security warning?

    Thanks for reporting!

    Hi Bob,

What SkySafari apps (and versions) are you running?  On what OS?

    Thanks sooo much!

    Hi Keiron,

Happy to help.  I have SkySafari 5 Pro running on 2 Android devices.  SS 5 has access to Google Drive for storage. I also have Satellite Safari 1.7.2. Google might have decided to send me this "upgraded Security Checkup" after I switched to 2 factor authentication last week.

Interesting.  Implementing 2-factor is probably why you're getting the email alert.  I'm not sure why we would be "unverified".  But, as we can be trusted, everything is ok.  SkySafari 6 also steps away from Google Drive as well, as we now provide auto-backups to our own Simulation Curriculum servers.  Thank you for sharing this report, Bob!

I can't say why Google decided to call you "unverified" either.  One last tid bit I can offer is that 4 other apps with access to my Google Drive were under this heading:

4 apps with low-risk access to your data
It's safe to keep giving these apps or services access if you trust and use them. They have low-risk account access or Google verified their developers' information.
