I know this is all a little trivial but is it possible to get the correct orbital elements in for the Tesla Roadster input into the database? Just for the fun of it? :)

Bill Tschumy We are trying to get them in. Stay tuned.

StuartTMDavis Thanks Bill.
Just as an aside, is it possible to import custom objects or enter orbital elements manually? I think the answer is no, but please confirm when you get a second.

Kent The coordinates must be available because Tom Polakis has already posted a short video clip of the Telsar.
An astronomy friend of mine, who is normally SO serious said he heard the right turn signal is on.

Bill Tschumy Kent,
Yes, I'm sure the coordinates are available somewhere. We just haven't had a chance to dig them up.
Stuart,
No, you cannot add your own orbital elements.

Bill Tschumy We added the Tesla roadster to our data a couple of days ago. If you search for "Tesla" you should find it. We are going to push a new iOS release later today or tomorrow that even has a 3D model of the roadster that you will see when orbiting the object (no Starman though).
