Bill Tschumy You can already do this. In SS5, you tap and hold the GoTo button and a popup will appear where you can enter coordinates to GoTo.
Im SS6, you tap the "More" button in the scope control panel. This brings up an option to enter coordinates.

David Barnard Thanks bill but is that still possible if i dont have a mount connected?
Essensially i need to locate targets via a stand alone plate solver and want to input the solved coordinates to see how clise i am to my chosen target.
I have a non ascom portable mount so im looking for a way to locate targets essily

Bill Tschumy David,
Are you asking if you can center the chart on particular coordinates (as opposed to a GoTo)? You can do that by going to the Coordinates settings, switching to Equatorial, entering the coordinates and then switch back to Horizon coords.
Alternatively, are you asking if you can enter the coordinates ahead of time, in a sense defining your own objects and adding them to an observing list, and then later going to them? The answer to that is "not yet". We have had creating user defined objects on the list of enhancements for a while but it hasn't happened yet.
