[Bug] SkySafari 6 Pro | Empty Observation Lists Cannot Be Deleted

I have created several observation lists, added objects, linked them to observations, later removed the objects, and tried to delete the observation list, but was told that the list could not be deleted because there are observations that reference the list.

In some cases I had unlinked all observations before removing the objects from the list. After updating to v. 6.0.4 and waiting for the lists and observations to synchronize, these lists could be deleted.

However, if objects were removed from a list before all observation references to the list were removed, the list cannot be deleted.

    Steve,

Removing an object from a list probably does not also delete the observation of that object that is tied to the list.  This is arguably a bug and I will look into it.

In reality I would like to implement an override option to say go ahead and delete the list even if there are observations pointing to them.  We will try to add this option pretty soon.  The person that would have to do this is focused heavily on LiveSky right now.

    Thanks, Bill.

I would suggest that the observation(s) pointing to the list not be deleted, instead the reference to the list should be removed from the observations. Then the list could be deleted still maintaining referential integrity.
