SkySafari 6 Plus | How To Flip View? (Answer: Settings > Coordinates > Flip Vertically and Flip Horizontally)

Hi,

I've just bought SkySafari 6 Plus, having previously used StarMap Pro and StarMap 2 for may years. I've set up my scope details, however the one thing I can't work out how to do is to display a flipped version of the display so that it reflects what I see when looking through my telescope (a manual Dobsonian). Without this it's really hard to star hop.

Is this possible?

  Sure it is possible.  There are two ways.

  1. Go into the Coordinates settings and use the Flip Vertically and Flip Horizontally switches.

  2. Tap the blue label at the upper right of the screen.  This will bring up a "speed" panel in which you can flip the view.
