I have been getting the error code <2131166238None> when trying to align 3 stars. I will align the telescope on three stars and when it tries to finish the alignment process, I get the above error code. It has worked previously before with minor glitches, but now it just won't align. I am pretty new to this, so I assume it has to be something that I am doing wrong.
I am using the Samsung S6 with version 7.0 and I have the most current update of Sky Safari 5 Pro for Android.
I have a Celestron Nexstar 8 and am using the Celestron WIFI connection.
Steps that I follow to align:
1. Pick Star 1, and use controls to align the star in the center of the telescope
2. Pick Star 2, and use controls to align the star in the center of the telescope (I usually pick a star that is on the other side of the sky)
3. Pick Star 3, and use controls to align the star in the center of the telescope
4. As soon as I press align on the 3rd star, it says <aligning...> and then it will immediately give me the error code.
I have looked online and have tried ways on fixing it (turning everything off and restarting, re downloading the app, making sure time and location were correct).
Here is the Error:
