Error Message: "SkySafari Needs To Be Updated To Work With iOS 11" (Solution: Please Upgrade To SkySafari 6)

    I assume this is SkySafari 3?  That was compiled as a 32 bit app which Apple no longer supports in iOS 11.  We stopped maintaining that app about 5 years ago. You should update to Skysafari 6 which is the current version.

    Ah, thanks for the info. When you say “update” do you mean “buy” SkySafari 6?  Or can my purchase of three be updated?

    Sorry for not being clearer.  I mean "buy SkySafari 6".

    Every two or so years we come out with a new major version of SkySafari.  At that time we require customers to repurchase.  We always have the app at half price for the first month to help with users upgrading.  unfortunately, without this kind of continual revenue SkySafari couldn't exist.
