Some, I just never use. Others, I would like closer to the left for portrait orientation.

Bill Tschumy You can already do this on iOS (Settings > Appearance & Behavior > Configure Toolbar). I am already planning on adding it to Android SS6 (although it may not be ready for first release).

Chris I know we've chatted about this elsewhere, but it would be great if it could be designed such that, for example, here is a menu of all options, you can choose 13 (current number of icons in toolbar) and you can order them however you want. Then, within those options you can choose, it would be nice if there were all of the current options, but then also the Center and Info, so if you're like me, and you use those a LOT and don't want to have to click a submenu and then move your hand to the middle of the tablet screen (where object info and center are at the top) then you can have those separately on the toolbar. What would be amazing would be if we could also 'create' our own submenu with items, and order those as well, giving the user complete control over their tools and order.
I agree with others, there are several I never use, such as Compass, Share, and others I hardly will ever use (SkyWeek, Help) that are being given better placement to things I literally use dozens of times in an observing session. -
Bill Tschumy I have reordering the buttons and hiding buttons on my list. However, a number of serious bugs have cropped up in the beta that need to get addressed first. I'll see when I can get to it.

Nathan Murphy I realized at my last observing session that it in addition to the advice here, adding the stars, deep sky, and solar system menus would also be nice - I realize stars and DSO can be adjusted by tapping in the upper left; however, in practice, at night, in the dark, with cold hands, it's easy to miss that section of the screen and touch a random star, removing your object selection from focus. having those options available to put in the menu bar would help.
additionally, haveng a "center last" as well as "center" would also help those of us with imprecise touches...
keep up the good work. SS6 pro is working great in the field!

Bill Tschumy It is unlikely we will be adding other "custom" button to the toolbar in the near future. We will keep it in mind though.
