SkySafari 6 Plus | No Stars (Solution: Reinstall)

Is anyone else having this issue? I open up the app and there are only planets showing in the sky. 

I go into settings, go to Stars, Show Stars is checked, Magnitude Limit is set to 5.2. I played around with those to no avail.

Then I go to search. Brightest Stars: No objects found to display. Nearest Stars: No objects found to display. etc etc

 

I can deal with the frequent freezing and crashing - I assume those issues will be worked out eventually, but no stars seems like kind of a big thing, but no one else seems to be mentioning it. Am I the only one?

    Can you attach a screen shot of your screen showing only planets and another showing your settings > stars settings?

    Also it would be helpful to know your device and Android version.

    So I actually uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now I have stars. Perhaps something to do with the fact that I originally downloaded it over spotty cell reception.

    Glad to hear a reinstall fixed it.  Hard to know what was going on.
