Starry Night Pro 7 | Why Are There No More Updates? (Answer: Do Not Install Using The Disc, Install Using Your Download Link - Last Update is 7.6.4)

Hello,

I am the proud owner of Starry Night Pro Plus 7. The software updates used to be frequent but in recent months, it seems nothing new came out, even when I check for updates manually. My current version is 7.0.3.138 leEW. Is there anything wrong with my software or... should I be more patient? :-)

    Hi Johan. I'm in the same position. After a long time, I reinstalled pro plus 7 (7.0.0.97). There must be an updates, but the program does not updates data and pretends not to have any updates. But everybody is talking 7.3 and higher.
    Problem: I'm not even able to find a donload location , a link or whatsoever.

    Hi Johan, Peter, 

    I have resent your registration with download link emails to the your email addresses used to make your original purchases.  Please delete the current SN7 and reinstall from your download links.  Please trash the discs.  They are no good anymore.  Only install from your download links.

    Keiron I'm in the same boat, I purchased the program back in 2015 but was still on in X back then so I just installed it on a win 7 laptop with integrated graphics.  Now I just did a new build with in 10 and Ryzen 7 2700X and installed from the original disk but cannot update.  I also emailed the SN user group on Yahoo.  The only issue is I dont remember what my email was, but I bought both the DVD and download version and was told I could install the other one when I did my new computer build. I think the email address I used was either moodyxxxx@msn.com or moodyxxxx@hotmail.com.  Email me at this or either of those for further information.

    Hi, Keiron. Did as you suggested. But it shows my version as 7.6.3.1373. No update to 7.6.4. And Skyguide still opens in browser instead of program... Any suggestions? Thanks. Alex

    The Mojave SkyGuide update hasn't been released yet.  Hopefully tomorrow.

    Oh so 7.6.4 comes out tomorrow and can be updated automatically from the program......still on 7.6.3.1373

    Correct, when the update is released you will update automatically.
