Given the high quality of the moon surface representation, I can probably guess the answer, is no because there is only one image. However, would SS6 have the ability to show (generate given the sun’s relative position) the crater shadows as the moon goes through its cycle in an updated version?

Bill Tschumy The Moon images are from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. I don't think we can get those at the various illumination angles we would need. This images are also pretty large and having a multiple sets of them would really increase the size of the app. So I don't think this is too feasible.
