SkySafari 6pro not updating with current location

I have a new iPad Pro 11. “,model A1980

running IOS12.1.1, with WiFi but no cellular, SkySafari pro v 6.2.2.0

when I select “settings “ and “location “ and select current location,  it will not update the information for my current location.

i can manually insert location information and save them as User-defined sites.

it also allows me to select from “location from list” and use them.

but if I try to “use current location” the word phrase flashes , signifying it is been selected but none of the location information updates.

This is my first time to use your app on this type iPad.

  This morning I was using the SkySafari app again to see if i could get it to start working properly on location update.

  i went into iOS settings and scrolled down to the SkySafari app.

  I verified that allow location access was selected.

  went back to SkySafari and tried current location again, no response.

  went back to iOS , “allow location access “ and toggled the setting on/off a few times.

  went back to SkySafari and now current location WORKS!

  i have exited and restarted SkySafari a number of times and location is working.

  i guess on a brand new setup, it needed a toggle on that setting.
