Comets dissapear on the chart

Hi,

 

I have SSP V6 comets don't appear on the map unless I goto find and centre. Ive tried zooming in but they are'nt there until searched for. Also happens when I select another object the comet dissapears.

  Ah ok I have to check show comets in settings and they show all the time.

  It may also be a limiting magnitude issue...
