How To Turn On Poles & Celestial Equator? (Answer: These Are Advanced Features Found Only In The Plus & Pro Versions - Look In Settings > Grids & Reference)

The chart is missing a few very important markers for astronomical observation.

The south pole for one (polaris australis is only close, but not at the pole, so an explicit marker would help a lot) and the celestial equator as seen from the current latitude (it's not always obvious and useful during polar alignment)

    Claudio,

In SkySafari Plus & Pro you can turn on the display of the celestial poles and the celestial equator in the "Grids & Reference" settings.  This option is not available in the free version of SkySafari which is designed for casual stargazers.

Ok, another reason to go plus/pro. I checked the description and saw no mention of those features. Is there a list of differences somewhere?

    Go to: http://www.skysafariastronomy.com/skysafari-6-professional-astronomy-telescope-control-software-for-ios.html

Scroll down in the page an click the "Comparison Charts".  This should show what is in the different levels of the software.

    Alright!

Kinda hard to find if you don't already know where to look, but good to know.
