Why Are Planet And Moon Maps Missing From Starry Night Pro 8? (Solution: Read On!)

I upgraded to version 8 but did a clean install. Yet, if I go to the Sun or hover above Earth, they are just dark spheres with missing textures. Win 10 Pro, AMD R9 390. What more info do you need to help me troubleshoot this? Old version 7 worked fine.

    Please change the following folder name from:

    C:\ProgramData\Simulation Curriculum\Starry Night Prefs\

    to... 

    C:\ProgramData\Simulation Curriculum\Starry Night 8 Prefs\

    Does that work for you?

    The issue is due to a bug in installer when choosing the Custom > Complete option.

    Merci ça fonctionne  j'avais les deux fichiers Starry Night Prefs et Starry Night 8 Prefs  ça a fusionner  en 1 fichier Starry Night 8 Prefs et ca marche tres bien bonne soiree
