How Can I Share A Named Settings File From One iPad To 5 Others Without Using The email Trick (Answer: Use LiveSky)

We have 6 iPads with SF 6 Pro for use in controlling 6 telescopes in Lowell Observatory's new public observatory. I have one set up the way I want and I was hoping to be able to share the saved settings file with the other five, but the email option doesn't work, because there are no email accounts on those iPads. Is there another way to file share?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim, you can share all the data between iPads by synchronizing them with LiveSky, as long as they have internet access.

First, create a LiveSky account on the iPad that is set up the way you want it.  You can do this by going to Settings/LiveSky and signing up with an email address and password. If you've already signed up or signed in on that iPad than you don't need to do anything.

On the remaining iPads, sign in to the same account by going to Settings/LiveSky, and then click the 'Login to Existing Account' button at the bottom of the right hand side. Then login to the same account that you are using in the first iPad.  The settings files, equipment lists, observations and observing lists will be shared across all the iPads.
