Will The Major Upcoming Events In SN7 Receive Any Further Updates? (Answer: Probably Not, But Let's See)

Hello everybody, I'm absolutely new to star-watching and to the forum. I bought a telescope from Celestron. included is a software called starry night in version 7. in this software there is a category quick find. In it the category major upcomming events. the events are from the year 2017. can i update the software so that the events are up to date?

  Thanks for joining us in the community forums.  I'll ping the developers and see if they can update the SkyGuide in SN7.

  We are now developing SN8 so it is possible SN7 will receive no further updates.  But, I can ask.

  Many thanks for the response. By the way. Yesterday I built my telescope (Astromaster 70AZ) for the first time and watched the moon. WOW. I did not think how sharp and clear this can be seen. I just had to tell.

  Something else. I know here is no Celestron support or something. But I have the Astromaster 70AZ. Now I have seen there is also the Astromaster LT70AZ. What is the difference between them?
