I have an older Celestron Advanced GT controller and an older SN7 Pro application. I can't remember when I bought the Celestron contoller and don't know which version of firmware it has. I do recall that I was frustrated using the Advanced GT with my scopes and eventually just put everything away. The SKIFI III ad has raised my interest again. I just don't know if I need Starry Night software to run it or if just having the controller and the new SKIFI II is enough. I saw the warning about the Advanced GT hand held perhaps needing replacement.
Can anyone help me with this situation?
