[Bug] Asteroid Observation Name Changes [Need Path To Reproduction, Working Properly Now]

Hi, Whenever i record asteroid observations, the names of the observed objects have been changed by the app when i review them a few days later. This has happened with every asteroid observation since purchasing SkySafari in August 1019. Therefore, logging asteroid observation is pointless. I use SkySafari on an Android tablet and phine, both Samsungs. I note this bug was reported before. Thanks

  Please post before and after examples.  The name is changed how?

  What SkySafari app and version number?

  What Android OS version number?

  Recent name changes were as follows:

   

  24 December 2019:

  Observed (88) Thisbe, became (79) Eurynome;

  Observed (10) Hygiea, became (1) Ceres. 

   

  25 December 2019:

  Observed (4) Vesta and (196) Philomela, became (187) Lamberta and SAUDICOMSAT 4

   

  26 December 2019:

  Observed (675) Ludmilla, became (666) Desdemona;

  Observed (28) Bellona, became (19) Fortuna;

  Observed (132) Aethra, became (123) Brunhild.

   

  21 / 22 January 2020:

  Observed (511) Davida, became (513) Centesima;

  Observed (81) Terpsidor, became (83) Beatrix;

  Observed (139) Juewa, became (141) Lumen.

  Hi Daniel, 

  1. Are you syncing SkySafari 6 Pro with Starry Night 8?
  2. Where was this bug reported previously?  August 2019 is a long time for this kind of bug to exist in the app.
  3. Also, SS6 is currently version 6.6.4.10  Please update your app and confirm the issue still exists.  If previously reported this may have been fixed in the most recent updates.

  Thanks, the app was updated when I checked after reading your message. It looks like it is working now. I wasn't syncing with StarryNight.
