I want to have lists of all the struve doubles for certain constellations. If I use the planner, I can do this, but on the observing list the objects show up under their HD designation rather than the more popular STF.
If instead I use the search function to find all struve doubles (e.g., search for STF). I get ~5000 objects for all constellations that I can turn into an observing list. When I open the list, the stars are listed with their STF designation (not HD, etc). This is what I want, except it is for all constellations. I would like to limit to only one.
So is there a way to do what I am trying to do. For example, a list of all struve doubles in CMa but when I open the list they are listed as, for example, STF 1011 rather than HD 52482.
