Is there a way to Plate Solve & sync Starry Night 7 telescope control?
There are numerous YouTube videos out there that show how to do this using other ASCOM Planetarium Programs such as Stellarium. Can't find anything with regards to SN.

What plate solving software are you using? What OS are you running? What mount are you controlling?
Thanks for the response Keiron. I was able to get plate solving to function last night with my particular work flow. Sharing as follows so others may benefit ......
- CPWI (Celestron App) to do initial alignment of scope
- Adjust focus & photograph using BYEOS
- Plate solve & sync scope with AstroTortilla which uses BYEOS for photo capture
- Launch Starry Night & connect to scope. Start hop using SN
- Leave both SN & CPWI running
- Continue to plate solve & sync on multiple targets in order to refine star alignment
This all seems to work great as both CPWI & SN never got out of sync.
PS...…….I'm using a Windows 10 laptop & a Celestron CGEM.
An excellent result, Jeffrey! Thank you for sharing your success story in our community forums!
