[Feature Request] Attaching Observations to Multiple Lists

Hello to all:

 

I wonder if it would be possible to change it so a single observation could be attached to two or more lists. 

I'm not sure how others use the lists but I work from lists so it's good to connect observations with that list so I know what's I've seen and what remains to be seen.

But I also build a list of what I've observed during the time around the dark of the moon. If I could attach an observation to both lists, it would only take a few seconds. Creating two observation is wasting valuable eyepiece time and just isn't going to happen.

    This has been a highly requested feature that has never materialized. I literally think about this every single session and there's no easy workaround. What I have ended up with is half my lists think I've never observed objects when I really have, resulting in very poor data. Just this past Monday night I was observing three galaxies I thought I hadn't seen, working on a list. When I found them and began logging, I realized I had just logged them last cycle under a different list, so I'd just wasted 15 precious minutes of my session because this feature doesn't exist.

    Hi Jon, thanks for posting here as well.  Glad Chris pitched in too. I've created a ticket and will prioritize this feature as something to look at.  Pedro
